Vibrant, translucent ruby in colour. The nose has notes of rose petals, musk and lavender with cranberry, redcurrant, morello cherry, pastrami, sweet spices and terracotta. "This is a shiraz of genuine appeal. The mid palate is sweet and ripe but there's a lot flying about the edges. Redcurrant and raspberry meets graphite, black pepper, clove and woodsmoke.
